Expocarnes & Lácteos is the most important international show for the meat sector in Mexico and one of the main ones in Latin America. Held in Monterrey and organized by Mexican association COMECARNE, the event is a must for professionals in the sector and it enjoys great prestige and presence in the region.

The show encompasses two areas: product and machinery and equipment. This duality causes both meat professionals and professionals from the retail or catering sector to coexist as visitors. “It is an excellent commercial platform for most of amec’s partners who are linked to the meat and food industry (and packaging)” claims amec’s representative in Mexico, Juan Alberto Ruiz de Velasco.

In order to boost the participation of its companies amec aefemec/alimentec organized a joint stand that brought together two Spanish leading companies in the industry, United Barcode System (UBS) and Radar Process. Other Spanish companies decided to partake as well in the event such as Taesa, Catalina, Dibal, Roser, Ulma, Multivac, Busch and Viscofan. This proves the interest of the Spanish industry in the market and its eagerness to expand its horizons internationally.
